In addition, she has taught Beginner Level Salsa classes offered throughout the DSM metro and at the Cultural studio, acted as Executive Director once previously, SDM Board chairperson, website manager, and performed with the SDM Rueda performance team. "We travel a great deal and one of my main focuses is to find a salsa venue. We have met many fellow salseros and enjoy the differences that we observe, but value the mentality that all have, and that is the great love and passion that we all experience from this dance."
She looks forward to developing this love of the dance and community involvement even more in Des Moines and the surrounding communities, by continuing to carry out Salsa Des Moines' stated mission.
