The Salsa Des Moines Masquerade Ball is Iowa's annual event and it's going to be a magical time this year! We're so very excited for the community to get together and enjoy a night of dancing, music, and mingling.
Can you believe this is Salsa Des Moines' 8th year in operation? As a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, being around for that long shows a great deal of need in our community. We've been honored to create experiences for our fellow citizens to experience the Latin culture through dance, music, education, and more. Your patronage and support will continue to provide us the fuel we need to get to the next level and perhaps our 10 or 20 year anniversaries.

Heidi Bibler - Instructor
Heidi Bibler was first introduced to Latin dancing the summer of 2009 in Des Moines. Since then, she has spent the last eight years participating in workshops, festivals, and congresses throughout the Midwest and overseas. These events include the Chicago Salsa Congress, the Chicago Salsa & Bachata Festival, the Salsaludable festival in Valladolid, Spain, and the Kizombéalo festival in Valladolid, Spain, as well. She won second place in the 2011 Gusto Latino dance competition in Iowa City, and was a former member of Iowa City’s Latin dance group, “Dile Que Sí.” Heidi has also been teaching for group practices, festivals, and private events throughout Iowa since 2012, and is excited to share her knowledge and experience with the Des Moines salsa community once more!
